Reviews of The Edit Room
"The sandwiches are pretty bad, doughy uncooked bread that even toasting can’t bring to readiness. The staff are nice so there’s an extra star, go somewhere else to eat; nothing about this place says great food."
"Had a latte when visiting Leeds University and it tasted like dish water... No coffee taste at all."
"Worth noting that the coffee prices here are actually more expensive than Starbucks. A medium latte here is smaller than a Starbucks small, and costs about 50p more. Not defending Starbucks here - but it feels weird a Uni coffee shop couldn't be a bit more competetive, both in drinks prices and Meal Deal options."
"Why don’t the staff wear face masks? They only wear visors and get too close to customers to tell them off for having their mask off between sips. The guidance without masks is two meters. According to the Department of Health and Social Care: “A face visor or shield may be worn in addition to a face covering but not instead of one. This is because face visors or shields do not adequately cover the nose and mouth, and do not filter airborne particles” Better of going to the lovely cafe in the student union staffed by actual students."
