Reviews of Costa Coffee
"Quite possibility the best Costa I've ever visited! Although very busy and quite clearly a popular place, the seating area was nice and spacious. Staff were so helpful, friendly and polite and assisted me (wheelchair user) by bringing my tray to me and used their initiative to ensure a table was available for me so that I can stay in before I paid for my order. My only suggestion would be that I'd like to see more dietary requirements catered for - many times, particularly in chain cafes I struggle to get gluten free products to suit my dietary needs."
"This place is desperate for a deep clean and some new chairs - very grubby. Also need extra staff as there was dirty cups, etc. everywhere. Went in last Saturday, ordered 1 medium latte, a bottle of coke and 2 rounds of toast - only white bread and get this....NO BUTTER OR MARGARINE!!! When it came out there was no extra jam to make up for lack of butter but when we asked we did get some. The latte was not too bad though and the toast was ok. Can't believe there were loads of Costa people all over the Trinity but no-one could get some white bread, butter, margarine from somewhere???"
"Service is really slow, it wasn't overly busy but took so long to get served. No urgency from staff, it was cold and when I visited toilet's they were in need of a tidy up and clean and no toilet paper in ladies or disabled, didn't use!!"
"Costa isn’t known for being excellent with their drinks, food or service but wow… the Trinity Leeds Costa is impressively poor at providing customer service. Granted I visited during the summer school holidays and there were only a few staff members (Costa, ensure your cafes have enough staff to meet demand!) I waited 15 minutes in a fairly short queue. Staff looked stressed and overworked which was clearly slowing things down. I was charged eat in price for a cold sandwich (I thought only hot food was pricier when eating in?!) so went back to the counter and told the manager. He didn’t say anything to me but took the receipt to the till and proceeded to refund the difference by cash… when I paid originally by card. Honestly, I will not be returning here after such a poor experience."
"This Costa was not that busy when we visited, it did sadly have a number of dirty tables with cups, try’s and napkins. We had to clean our own table. Not the best thing to have to do when you are paying Costa’s prices. The service was very friendly and the staff polite and very keen to help. 10 out of 10 for the staffs efforts. Food was good, not the best for the price you pay but filled a gap."
