"I have been going to this shop for years as it is simply wonderful. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, they are always happy to offer advice. It's nice to go somewhere and be able to find a member of staff and get good advice these days. The range of stock means they carry everything you may need from screws to cookware/ kitchenware, garden tools & seeds to paint and decorating products, they even mix paint colours on site. They cut keys. They sell and fit blinds & shutters. Take your broken light bulb/ strip light and if they haven't got it they will order you one, no trouble (even rare ones)! They sell EXCELLENT cleaning products (much better than ranges you find in the supermarket, including eco friendly products). If you haven't already been in then I highly recommend a visit. They must be doing something right as they're celebrating 145 years of being in business!!! It's a wonderful shop that has retained that personal community shopping experience."
