German Doner Kebab

"I recently visited German Doner Kebab and was somewhat disappointed with my experience. Although the staff were friendly, I couldn't help but feel that the portions were smaller than what I've experienced at other branches outside of the city center. Perhaps this is due to the "tourist tax," but I still expected more for the price I paid. Additionally, the food itself was almost cold by the time it reached my table, which was a major letdown. Although I appreciated the friendly service, for over £22 for two sandwiches, drinks, and chips, I don't believe it was worth the price. Overall, I would say that German Doner Kebab was just okay and wouldn't necessarily recommend it."

"A typical German doner. There's very limited seating. So unless you're lucky to get a seat during busy times, expect to be sitting with strangers, or standing up and eating. The other option is to take the food back to your home or office, but usually the food gets cold quickly, thus doesn't taste as succulent. Staff were great and understood the menu. Food was served promptly."

"The worst GDK store of them all. Look at the photos for the pathetic sliver of meat they included with my food. When I called to complain they said sorry we have a trainee but we cans do anything about it tonight you’ll have to come into store tomorrow. Don’t order from this place"

"Not impressed. Meat (neither chicken nor beef) had any flavor. Was thinking this was going to be like a gyro. Had there been ANY seasoning on it, it might have resembled the flavor. Definitely won't go out of my way for this, but maybe that's my own fault for expecting a gyro to begin with."

"The store was super clean, the staff was welcoming and the food was delicious. I've had Donner in Berlin and this was spot on."
