"On Friday I was gifted some money from a relative a very welcome surprise from a grueling week. I decided to get a haircut because it had been about a year and I planned to spend the weekend cleaning. I googled few nearby hairdressers and when Peter Marcus' number was not immediately obvious, so I used the number from the website. When the price was quoted it was a little more than expected but working 8am -7pm on week days and having something extra to treat myself I went ahead and booked 4.15. When I arrived at the Didsbury branch the shutters were closed, I released there must be two and rang them immediately. When I spoke to the man on the phone and explained what I had done (fully expecting a cancellation) he told me to head into the city to the second branch. Getting straight into my car it was a fifteen minute drive and he said there was parking on a nearby street. I was releaved when I got there in under half an hour as the parking was a little further away. When I arrived someone greeted me to say the stylist had left. I explained my situation and it became clear whoever I had spoken to had not communicated my situation. The man I spoke to didnt know what to say as he was fully booked he mentioned maybe a rebook and a discount. I was then passed over to the receptionist who tried to ring the Didsbury branch even though I explained it was closed. She then blamed me for not getting there on time and couldn't do anything for me as it was not their fault. I understand I got the branches wrong, but I would never have driven down if I had known they could see me, I also paid £5.80 for parking. It would've been nice as a courtesy to pay for parking or offer a rebook with a discount. Anyway my advice would be to have better communication as a team at the branch. I'm not sure when I can next get my hair cut. But it's safe to say I'm still upset by the whole thing."
