"Avoid this takeaway. I have been using Plentiful for the last 15 years with no problems and the food has always been excellent. Have recommended this takeaway to lots of friends. However this has sadly changed. I ordered a takeaway last night and it was awful. The king prawn curry was like watered down gravy and the salt and chilli ribs were bbq ribs with pieces of chilli sprinkled over the top with no salt and they were chopped into tiny pieces. I called the restaurant to complain and asked if they had changed hands. They said they haven’t. Alarm bells should have rung when I called to order and the phone was answered within one ring. Usually I try at least 10-15 times before I can get through. I will never use this takeaway again."
"Really great food!! Great quality. Arrives super quickly. Best Chinese in town!!"
"Ordered dinner and then waited for nearly 2 hours without it arriving. The tried nearly 60 times to call the take away to find out what the progress was on the food to be told that they hadn't even started cooking it, TWO HOURS after ordering. Not entirely sure what had happened and no update had been provided by the restaurant as to the progress of the order. Clearly if you want your food on time, don't order if its a busy time as you won't get your food and they won't tell you that it will be arriving up to 3 hours after ordering. Last time we will be ordering from there. You clearly get what you pay for."
"Best Chinese takeaway in town! We have been unsung new plentiful for over 20 years! Very nice Chinese takeaway. Actually we will be ordering in about 10mins"
"They will lie through their teeth to tell you an order will arrive on time. Most people order Saturday evening as a treat at the end of a hard earned week. Well what they don’t tell you is that anyone walking through their door is a priority so for every walk in your delivery is pushed back 15 minutes. Therefore if you have family round for a Saturday night in and four people walk in and order in the shop then the 30 minute delivery becomes 1 hour and 30 minutes. Then of course dare you challenge they give you attitude— steer clear - no loyalty to regulars And I’m still waiting for the refund of my pre paid order that hadn’t arrived 2 hours after the 40 minutes quoted."
