"My girlfriend saw a red cotton jacket online and wanted to try it on to find the proper size for her. We then went to this shop in September 22nd asking if my girlfriend can try the jacket on. Shockingly, the lady sale assistant didn’t ask for my gf’s size, instead she showed her the label saying:’this jacket is £360, do you still want to try it on?’ Not bothered after hearing this. We left the shop straight away. We were prepared to pay the full price for the jacket my gf intended to try on, but hearing the sale assistant saying something like that was just disgusting. We bought the jacket on the second day from Lacoste Birmingham coz neither of us are bothered to go back into Lacoste Meadowhall again. Wish I could rate 0 star for this shop."

"We visited the store today for my partner to try on an item we had seen online before purchasing. I have to say that the customer service we received was excellent! Sales assistant Francesca was really helpful and went out of her way to find the correct size and colour. Thank you."

"My husband always manages to get everything he’s looking for in Lacoste at Meadowhall. The young lad called Josh is always very helpful and friendly. He’s very knowledgeable about the product explaining size and fit . Today was serving 3 customers helping them all with colour and size all getting 100% great customer service . "On 28 August my husband and I went into the Meadowhall branch of Lacoste. My husband has purchased items from here before with no issues. However on this latest visit we were very disappointed with the service we received. We were initially looking at sale items but fully intended to pay full price if necessary for the right item. Unfortunately when we were looking and would usually be greeted by whoever was at the counter we found that the man behind the counter was more interested in looking at his phone, only looking up to respond to our question about sizes. He quickly said we would struggle to get the size and fit required in the sale and promptly went back to his phone. This is very different to previous experiences when the staff have been very helpful checking stock to see whether they did have the size and fit. But no, this guy wasn't interested at all! Luckily a younger man saw what was happening and came to help and did check for stock in the sale but by this time we were loathed to spend our money and left. All the while the other guy had moved away from the counter still on his phone; quite happy for his colleague to do the work. Disappointing Lacoste!"
