"Had a fantastic lunch at The Pearson Room this week, far exceeded my expectations having never eaten there and my new favourite place to take clients. Starters were particularly delicious but all the food and drink was on point. One thing I really enjoyed, compared to some other venues in the Wharf where the tables are rammed in close together, is the open and airy feel of the place. It's just a nice place to spend a couple of hours. Staff very attentive. Well deserved 5 stars. Keep it up!"
"One of my favourite places to eat in Canary Wharf. I am always overwhelmingly impressed with the service of all the staff who truly go above and beyond! I highly recommend the whipped feta to start and the chicken burger as a main course. Portions are just right and leave just enough room for a dessert. During my most recent visit, the bar manager made recommendations for wine pairings which really was the icing on the cake. I also recently learned that all the ice-cream and sorbet is made on site which is another reason to go back!!"
"The venue is nice with some good views. A bit annoying that the restaurant section is right next to the very noisy bar with no walls to separate anything. Food was okay but I did expect it to be better for the price. I did feel like most of the dishes I had were based on very simple recipes that I could have cooked myself, and I'm not exactly Gordon Ramsey. Portions were on the smaller side too. Although, dessert was fairly priced and definitely my highlight of the meal. Staff were very helpful and friendly so no complaints there!"
"Visited this as part of a networking dinner. The waiters are very attentive. I didn't have cocktails but my colleagues who did were very happy. Let's talk about the food. I give the snacks, starters and the desert a thumbs up but I can't say the same about the mains. The whipped feta and bread was lovely. The tuna starter was wonderful. My colleagues had the prawns and were happy too but when you move to the mains, If you look at the plating and consider the taste it honestly feels like two different kitchens at play. My colleagues shared a similar view. Risotto was overpowered by lemon so couldn't get other flavours, octopus was a little overcooked and rice itself undercooked. The triple cooked chips were not really triple cooked. The chicken burger was a little dry and the kimchi leeks which was my personal interest was minimal. I can't comment on the other mains as those are the ones our table had. But if the same love was given to the mains as the starters and desert I would definitely be a fan."
"Nice place for drinks but distinctly average food. My chicken was quite bland and uninspiring (as was my guests). I do feel that it's outclassed by other places in the Wharf. Complained to the manager later and was told I was wrong (!)."
