"Excellent local - Walked past it quite a few times but never given it a try. We went as a group of 8, all had a different curry and all the food was amazing quality. Very good value for money and brilliant, friendly service. Will definitely become my go to local!"
"I have tried Gurkha's Inn for dinning and a takeaway from a delivery app and I can say this is definitely a gem of Greenwich. For takeaway ordered their mixed biriyani and a green-minty chicken curry and the taste was phenomenal. Even the dips and the small vegetable curry that came with the biriyani was tasty. The food is absolutely delicious and not once have I had a poor experience in taste. A truly memorable place simply by taste alone and I'd recommend it to anyone."
"To start with the chutney tray had obviously just come off another table as it had obviously been used.... The onion bahjis were overdone, coconut rice tasted bland and reheated, the chicken in korma was dry even with the sauce. The chicken tikka was also dry we asked for a curry sauce to help, this came brown water... So disappointed, I had one mouthful from my main and rice and couldn't eat anymore! Was told that nothing can be done as the manager had left. Definitely won't be returning here and personally wouldn't recommend eating here if you have taste buds and enjoy good food. The food looks better in photos than on the table"
"A nice local Indian place with friendly service and good food. The lamb momos were truly delicious, served with a lovely sauce. The dal makhani had excellent flavour, creamy and rich, even though I personally prefer it without kidney beans. The aubergine and potato dish was a really good choice too - delicately spiced and bright. The paneer butter masala was a real surprise - full of coconut and very sweet, not what I expected at all. It was nice but too sweet for me, especially with the peshwari naan, which was a bit dry and hard, so would recommend going with the rice. Couldn’t really tell the difference between pilau and regular rice, so would just go with the standard rice. It’s excellent value, and staff thankfully seem to be conscious of Covid protocols. Restaurant is lively with people but not crazy busy on a Saturday night. Would recommend to anyone looking for good Indian food in Greenwich!"
