"ATTENTION MOUSE INFESTATION.. DO NOT COME HERE!!! Me and my family are regular customers here and if we are not eating in then we are ordering takeaway. Last Friday my family came here (6 adults and 4 children). We ordered our food and drinks and as usual asked for some poppadoms whilst we wait.. We received 2 baskets of poppadoms and 2 sauce servers.. We ate one basket of poppadoms only to see at the bottom was an inch size hole in the side and mouse droppings.. We told the waiter who said its burnt poppadoms. As you can see in the pictures it's definitely not that. We got up and said we want to cancel our order. The waiter tried charging us for our full order which we refused. He the tried charging us £64 for 10 poppadoms (75p each), dips 2x onion chutney, 2x mango chutney and 2x pickle (75p each as stated on their menu) and drinks (4x cokes 3.95 each, mango juice 2.50, 2x mango lassi 4.50 each & 1 orange juice). The waiter tried lying about the prices of the drinks until we had to go through each item on their menu. Then he tried claiming they charge each person £3 per person per poppadom (75p for each chutney plus poppadom). This is rediculous and not stated in their menu. So in total was charged £30 just for the poppadoms whilst we waited We asked the waiter when he last had a pest control visit and he said 2 weeks prior. There were mice poison is the toilets so there's obviously an infestation somewhere. The waiter had such an attitude towards us because we were obviously upset. No apology was given from the restaurant. Please be warned about the dodgy pricing as well as a mouse infestation."
"We found the place by utter chance. Outstanding food, highly precise seasoning, fresh and extremely delicious. Highly recommended!"
"My favourite Indian restaurant. I am completely addicted to the chicken vindaloo. Chicken is always tender and the sauce is always the perfect mixture of heat and taste. Service is swift and friendly. I have been ordering here for years and will continue to support them where I can. Planning a dine in for the first time on my birthday."
"Fantastic! We live locally and struggled to find a traditional Indian restaurant, but this really does fit the bill with delicious authentic Indian food. We had a range of starters, as well as Pathia and Balti mains and could not fault any of it. In fact it is some of the best traditional Indian food we’ve had for a long time anywhere. The ingredients are fresh and the tastes are spot on and you can tell that the chef knows how to cook a whole range of dishes. I imagine all dishes on the menu are to the same standard and quality and intend to find out soon! We were served by the owner, Ali, who was a great host and would even adapt dishes to your taste and requirements if needed. It is very easy to get a table it seems any day of the week, even at short notice or by just turning up without the booking. The prices are extremely reasonable and they serve good bottled beer and good wine. I would happily travel to this restaurant but I’m lucky to close by."
"LOVED IT!!!!! The best and tastiest Indian food that I ever had! We kept coming back almost every evening during our stay in London! Can highly recommend Chicken tikka masala with nan and amazingly spiced rice! Also a Kingfisher or Cobra beer goes well down with it!"
