"We were given our bill at £403.86 and split it amongst our group - I made sure to pay last and made sure with the waiter that my payment accrued to £404 overall. He took the receipt away happy and the manager came back with a different receipt for £433.85 and claimed we were exactly £30 short. Two of us had done the initial maths for our party. One of our group paid the £30 because he didn’t want the confrontation and the manager refused to leave us the receipt to check over. We as a company have been using this restaurant for years (decades?) so fairly disappointed with this treatment and being conned out of our money."
