"Ghandi the heaven of all curry restaurants! Delicious food and amazing staff!"
"I first went to this restaurant about 30 years ago and have been several times over the years. It may have been redecorated since my first visit but it is difficult to say. It is cosy and really suits a group of at least three having a good banter rather than a romantic dinner for two. The food and service are okay and the portion sizes are small but maybe that is a good thing. The prices are low at just under £9 for a biryani, thus it is exceptional value for money - deserving 3 stars. It is an average but reliable choice."
"Came here tonight with friends as my friend was raving about it. The food was delicious with perfect sized portions. I was not sure what to order so I asked what they recommended and he made me something that wasn’t even on the menu. Really lovely place and I would recommend."
"We used to live nearby for a few years and never went there, although had heard good things about it. Then one evening off the cuff, we gave it a try and have been regulars ever since. There are very few Indian restaurants that are pretty full all week, so I always make a point of booking. We are always well looked after with a very reasonable bill and excellent food. They've been there over 30 years, so they must have got it right and I believe the decor is the original, so it's like going back to the past although no flock wallpaper, but magnificent portions. Usually crowded with nice customers. Highly recommended. Just booked for tomorrow now."
"Decided to go here last night before a round at top golf. I've got to say though the chicken korma was really nice and tasty, the waiter was very cool and nice. Service was good. It's not a 5 star as the recommended food dish was okay at best and their mix grill was okay, nothing to shout about. The garlic naan could've been bigger. We spent 47 for 3 people. 4 mains, 3 breads, extra rice and drinks."
