"3 star with a heavy heart… Tilapia, fried yam and plantain were at least a 10/10. Great portion sizes, flavoursome and perfect textures. The jollof was nice and flaky, was just sad I had no salad cream to accompany. Egg salad was nice and a well needed pallet cleanser after the firey pepper and shito! Unfortunately, excluding Jeff who was amazingly helpful and patient to my many questions, the service was easily a 1/5. Having to give direction to clean bones of the table - so we took the cloth and done it ourselves, asking repeatedly for cutlery - I went and got it myself. I definitely love to try more food but would order ahead by phone and take away."
"I was so excited to try this place but I was so disappointed. The service was atrocious, we had to wait over an hour for our food, yet people that came in after us got their food much quicker and there was no apology. The table was dirty and when we asked the server to clean it, she was like “I’ve already cleaned it?” And just didn’t have the best attitude. The suya and soup was both tasty but ridiculously spicy, I am Ghanaian myself so I’ve had these dishes many times but the spice was unbearable that it ruined the soup. I couldn’t even finish it."
"Lovely restaurant a nice homely vibe and delicious food, be prepared to have your socked blown off by the pepper. You don't feel rushed by the staff when sitting and talking after the meal. The lady taking the orders very efficient and composed, even when she was rushed off her feet. Will definitely go back."
"I have been here a few times and recently it took quite long for food to come out. But the food is well worth it. Jollof cooked to perfection and the kelewele basket is delicious as always especially the crispy slight burnt bits. Highly recommend if you want to try Ghanaian cuisine. Local area but difficult for parking."
