"My girlfriend and I just had the most fantastic experience here. From the moment we called the young woman, Sara, she was extremely helpful. When we arrived she was attentive, polite and patient whilst we picked our food. The food was great in my opinion and they allowed me to have multiple meats for my roast! This made me extremely happy and I was happier that the meat was cooked really well. The whole experience was incredible and we will definitely be coming back. That’s Sara and chef!"

"My family had a lovely Sunday lunch at Last Outpost. The food was very tasty, vegetables still had 'bite' and there were generous portions. For Sunday Lunch there was a choice of chicken, beef, lamb or vegan and a range of dessert, as well as the al la carte menu. The only thing that could have been improved was the Yorkshire pudding (a little small and not very dramatic!) - try Gordon Ramsay's recipe, it works every time. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff friendly and attentive. This restaurant is in an unassuming location on Hither Green Lane, but is worth making the trip."

"I have no idea how this place gets any good reviews. They were useless. When we visited there were literally only about 3 tables but there was about an hour's wait for food. We will definitely not come again. We politely asked for the food to be served together rather than as starters followed by mains and this request was completely ignored. Competent service can on occasion gloss over a poor kitchen. Some charm and perhaps the offer of a round of free drinks can go a long way. Unfortunately the apologies were lukewarm, and the length of the wait barely acknowledged. Also, don't order from deliveroo. Two or three drivers turned up and were shocked to learn they would have to wait over 20 minutes for their orders. When the food arrived it was fine. Not good, but passable. The French onion soup tasted a bit like gravy and there was no cheese on the bread. The coffee was unpleasant."
