Smacks Hamburgers

"I thought I’d try out the place and see the hype. I ordered the Don Burger meal - £11.99 Sadly, it was bit of a let down. 15-20 minute wait for the meal. I was the only one in the fast food place. Burger was great. Chips was below average and very small, the Burger bun was softer than normal bread. The drink choice was out of 4 options. Get the Burger, avoid the chips and avoid the drink. Just go to Chicken cottage, down the road for a better choice in chips and drink selections at a better value with better customer service. Pros: The actual ingredients of the burger is super fresh and tasty. Free mayo, chilli and tomato sauce bottles across the table. But it's right next to the dustbin. Always at least 2 empty tables, its never fully packed out busy. It's great place to chill and eat with your mates with its super bright lights. Clean Tables. Super empty and quiet which is great. Most People do takeaway orders. Cons: Customer service is just average. No happy smile, but they are great at talking amongst themselves really. So if you need to ask for a tissue, just make sure you say Hey loudly, so it interrupts their conversation. Also, you have to ask for pepper, salt, and Tissues as they don't do that. They just cook the food and pack it and then put it on a tray. So Remember to get up and ask for Tissues. They don’t refill the free sauces near the dustbin. It's only 3 sauces. The bun and chips are the real let down of the meal. Super messy burger, not at all well put together, just messy. There is no salt on the chips. Some have black bits on it. Really let me down when I luv chips and saw this shop had skin on fries. Delicious beef and Chicken patty which shows they have good quality ingredients. The main let down is by the whole construction of the burger, its like Mcdonalds and someone with a heavy hand smashed it down each time they service it to you kinda vibe. Its 8pm, I was the only customer, how can a burger be just so messy. My tip is Come for the burger and that’s it. The entire Tooting area has enough Chicken Or Burger shops that will give you better chips or wings. I was really looking forward to this place so much. The bun for the burger is the real let down. It’s like they bought 99p sesame cheap buns and added it on top. No Free extra sauces from the counter area. They will ask if you want Peri- Peri spice, and be bit cheeky and charge you an extra 25p for each spice you add, without telling you or asking you. Don’t take any extra spices. It won’t change the 11 chips flavour that much. Regular chips - is really 11 fries = Small Chips. Large chips = Regular chips. For the money you spend here, Chicken cottage or any burger place will provide better value and bigger portions. Overall if you want a tasty burger, this is the place. Avoid the chips, the drinks are average, and always ask what extra charges Does the Front Customer Service Guy Add. They won't tell you, but you can see + this or that without your permission or knowing. The 2 beef Burger patties and Smicken Chicken patty was just great. Everything else is a bit of a let down, and now I understand why most customers rather have a takeaway than sit inside."

"I went with a group of friends and ordered a Big Smack Meal, which was a succulent, tender, juicy, quad burger piled high and overflowing with lettuce pickles, onions, melted cheese and delicious sauces. The fries were golden, non-greasy, exceptionally crispy with a soft inner core and flavoursome. I paid extra for a strawberry shake in place of a fizzy drink. The shake was not overly sweet or so icy-cold to give me brain freeze! A great treat and quite reasonably priced. I'm looking forward to my next visit and trying other burgers on the menu."

"I recently visited Smack Burgers and had the pleasure of trying their Smack Down burger and crinkle fries. The fries were delicious, especially with the added peri peri seasoning. The burger, with its two patties, was very filling and satisfying. It was also great to see that there were more affordable options on the menu. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, making it a great choice for fast food. Overall, I highly recommend Smack Burgers for a tasty and satisfying meal."

"Amazing experience first time visiting the smack burger branches and it was great to taste the big smack burger and it lived up to the hype.. the burger and new style chips were brilliant tasty and fulfilled my taste buds. "Nice little fast food restaurant in Tooting. Food was lovely. Beef was unexpectedly delicious, as most places make it too bland. Ate here a few times now and always tried a different burger, and the downside is that all the burgers taste very similar, otherwise great place to eat!!"
