"The lady that served us was friendly and helpful all together charming. The ambience is however, not great, shelves are empty, there are poorly written signs sellotapes to surfaces with unhelpful information and the chalk boards are amazing and very scruffy indeed. A shame as the food is great."
"Sadly, reading the reviews about the customer service, it has not improved in the slightest. I am Argentinian, I used to love coming here and bringing all my friends. It is 12:30 on a Sunday, they are completely put of ALL the flavours!!! The lady is absolutely awful, talking on the phone and sighing when customers come in and interrupt her to ask for an empanada. This is atrocious, there's nothing on the shelves, no music playing inside. How embarrassing. This is the last time me and any of my Argentinian friends come here."
"The empanadas here are tasty but we’re consistently disappointed with the service and staff. They always run out of flavors, never have the chimichurri sauce (which is the best part), occasionally they aren’t heated properly and the staff are completely indifferent and somewhat rude about the inconsistencies which makes it worse rather than compensates for what is lacking. Wish they would improve, until then won’t return!"
"Requested the three for two deal at the counter. Was met by a very miserable staff member who went on to charge us for 4 instead of three. We opted to take another empanada rather than ask for a refund. We asked for them to be heated for take away. When we opened the bag, we wondered why it felt cold. All four were frozen inside!! Including two of the spicy chicken ones. Isn’t it dangerous to reheat chicken unless it’s reheated sufficiently? As we were just visiting for the day, it was too far to drive back to ask for a refund so we just threw them away. Would NEVER go there again."
"The store front looked appealing so we went in for a coffee and an empanada. There were a couple of tables outside the store but otherwise it was takeaway only. Had to queue and wait for a while before being served. Staff member was polite and served the spinach and ricotta empanada after warming it up. Personally, it needed a bit more seasoning but went well with the coffee. Got them both in a deal of £4.25."
