"The staff are so lovely, warm and friendly. Really enjoyed the starter calamari - it was tender and the batter was subtle as to not overpower the calamari. The lasagne was great for a cold night - hearty, arrived so hot and I loved the tomato sauce around the lasagne to add that extra tang. The meatball pasta was a little underwhelming, though."
"Not been here is a long time, but still an incredibly popular, lively local restaurant. We were a party of 9 eating on a Saturday night. I would definitely recommend you book as nearly all the tables were occupied at 7.30. Service was efficient, staff new several members of our party and were friendly and welcoming. We shared a mixture of starters, Calamari Fritti, Funghi Mirele (deep fried mushrooms with garlic butter in breadcrumbs) and Bruchetta. Some of the party had pasta dishes (portions seemed very generous) and the pizza looked good. Also we had Scaloppine al Limone - scallop of veal in butter and lemon sauce, very delicious and again a very generous portion and Halibut in butter and lemon sauce - fish was perhaps a tad overcooked. A very enjoyable evening and will be back."
"Really goos, what appears to be a family run Italian restaurant. Really great tasting food at very reasonable prices for the quality. Very attentive staff too"
"Great atmosphere and super friendly staff! Fruit juices were fresh, food was delicious (especially the vongole) Great place for dinner."
"My goodness, the food here is devine! Atmosphere - cute, could be romantic if you want it to be. There is an 'Italian home' look and feel to the place, with clothes hanging above you. Unusual, but unique. My OCD just hopes dust from the clothes don't fall on the food. The type of customers we saw whilst we were there consisted of couples and families, so expect a child or two making some noise. It wasn't to the point of being disturbing. Food - scrumptious! We ordered a starter, which was prawns in a tomato sauce with bread. I could've eaten that all night, so delicious. I then ordered a pasta with basil and cod, this isn't the actual name of the meal but that's what it consisted of. It was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the lobster, she is a chef and rated it quite high, with the only complaint being that the lobster was a tad over cooked. We also tried their best wine, not my favourite, it was a little watery. The water is bottled spring water. The chilli oil is a huge glass with a mixture of peppers in oil, felt very home made, adding to the atmosphere. Service - great. The lady serving us was good, not going above and beyond but at the same time didn't need to. She was calm and helped with any info we required. The food arrived in good time too, I'd say it took about 10-15mins to arrive. I'll definitely be returning to this lovely place. 100% recommend it."
