Toby Carvery Hoole Village

"We have a Toby Carvery about 2 miles from home. We don't go because it's pretty dire, food isn't good and neither are the staff. We are on holiday in Chester and our friends booked Toby for this evening. We were welcomed by a very nice gent, who showed us to our table. The young man on the Carvery was extremely helpful when I said I was vegetarian and pointed out which roasties and other things were suitable, without me needing to ask. He was pleasant and cheery, and very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The other staff also the same. The place was very busy, but the staff were still attentive and happy to have a quick chat. The food was very good. Everything was piping hot and well cooked. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a 50% off voucher and actually felt guilty using it! Felt like we were robbing them, considering how much we had enjoyed it."

"Absolutely outstanding service tonight! Was greeted by Paul the host who was very accommodating and friendly. Was helpful to myself and my partner as a new family being out. Sat us on a table that accommodated having a pram next too. Sorted our drinks out and even checked if we had any allergies! The man was amazing, had such a positive attitude towards his job. "Staff were amazing and accommodating. As I have a disability which can mean being around busy areas can increase anxiety as I have tics which can be embarrassing. The amazing staff ensured we were in a quiet corner. The lovely lady who sat us down was very friendly and catering. The food was exceptional as always but the mash potatoes tasted a little bit like vinegar. The food was fresh and warm. We visit regularly and will continue to"
