"Lovely typical French bistro. Went few months ago and everything was outstanding. This time we went it had gone down a few points. Food was nice, service a bit off by young waitress that kept getting mixed up. Dont get much on the plate and is expensive. Tried to phone all over Xmas to confirm our booking and couldn't get through. Drove down inconveniently to check and they said it was closed all over xmas???Not very professional. Wouldn't say I would go there again after all that"
"Food was really delicious, however just recovering following 10 horrendous days of food poisoning following eating here. I had the chicken livers, which were still bloody raw and were luke warm in the center. Nevertheless you trust these places know what they're doing, however the worst case of food poisoning followed shortly after and so unfortunately cannot rate, or recommend this restaurant or return having previously never had anything like this happen from many decades of eating out. Liver requires extreme precautions to be followed if/when preparing and if these are not being followed, it should be cooked right through. Horrendous food poisoning, subjected by this, (it was not a 24 hour thing) and it is imperative that this is followed up and full disclaimer awareness spread as potential of this happening to anyone in this nature is extremely dangerous, as well as permanent and far reaching illnesses are possible via this type of bacteria. Reading some of the other reviews, and hearing from others, it seems this restaurant is known for this and this has happened many times before. This is not acceptable from any restaurant."

"This is one of our favourite restaurants in Liverpool. The chef/owner is dedicated to food and is focussed on taste and presentation. The menu is varied with an excellent lunchtime and early evening set menu which is extremely good value. i like that they don't serve exclusively French wine and we had a lovely bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon today. The service is always friendly and unobtrusive"
