"Had the value meal for two. Really nice food. The staff were nice and friendly. We drove there and it's a bit difficult to find as maps takes you to a car park at the rear, it's a short walk to the front. Beef and tomatoes was excellent."

We were the only customers. Chips were dripping in grease. Bought for my teenage daughter and friends after a day out. They all complained of the grease which seeped through the paper onto the surface they were placed. Daughter said they tasted like donuts from the fair. £6.60 for 3 portions of chips. I don't know if that's good value or not. We will avoid in the future."

"I have used palace fields chippy for takeaway the last 12 months getting a takeaway costing anywhere between £25-35 at a time every week. Tonight we waited 1 hour 16 mins for our delivery. Food turned up and it was all cold. I phoned palace fields straight away and told them. The owner told me they are very busy so tough. I explained that we have used them for a very long time and he was not remotely interested. This is not the first time we have been given either Luke warm or cold food. This is three times now and we have always given the benefit of the doubt. But not anymore. Terrible service and bad attitude means we shall not use this Chinese ever again....."
