"What a lovely Country Pub. Popped in one lunch time for a meal, the staff were lovely and helpful. There was two log burners fired up, which gave the place a cosy feel and helped after coming in our of the cold. I had a 10oz Gammon Steak which was succulent and cooked to perfection, as was the egg, chips and peas. Prices of meals and drinks were very reasonable also. Overall a very welcoming and cosy place to enjoy a drink and a meal."

"We went for something to eat on our way to the Yorkshire wildlife park. We had Sunday roast which was very nice I liked it that you could have a small or large one. My granddaughter had the children's menu which she enjoyed. We also had desserts which were delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful I would recommend the Harvey arms to anyone who wants good food."

"Been for a second visit, two young ladies front of house, bags of energy. Lovely surroundings, just needs a few little touches, great outside area / beer garden for warmer months. Most of all a fantastic main course from the specials board of braised beef, mash and root veg and amazing proper gravy, get that dish on your daily menu, beautiful."
