"We had an unplanned visit here today for Sunday lunch. It was the first time we have been here and we were very happy with everything from the service to the food, drink and price. I had roast chicken dinner and my husband had roast pork with all the trimmings. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. The food was lovely, tasty and plentiful. My husband had apple and blackberry crumble with custard, I was too full to face a pudding. The toilets are clean and accessible. The car park is right outside the main entrance. Apparently dogs are welcomed. We will definately visit again."

"Booked Christmas dinner for 16 and following previous experience when eating out on Christmas Day, our expectations were not set too high but the high quality of food and service was exceptional. I cannot recommend this village restaurant/bar enough. Great value for money. Excellent service and atmosphere."

"Just had lunch at the Mason Arms and I am astounded at the service we had. One of the meals was cold and instead of providing a new hot dish they just pinged it in the microwave!!!! It was inedible and was sent back. They didn’t offer an alternative or even a free dessert. I have never known this type of service anywhere."

"I recently met a friend for coffee at this pub. First impressions were good as the decor was much improved from my last visit and the chairs were very comfortable. One americano & a cappuccino coffee was £7.50 and both of them were cold. We had to ask for milk for one drink and sweetener for the other. My friend and I were hoping for a better experience but unfortunately it wasn't to be."

"Manager was lovely, very tasty food and altogether a lovely environment. Only place I have visited with Heineken 0.0% on draught. Definitely a winner for me!"
