"I went to this restaurant for the tasting menu. The food was amazing, the sea bass was the highlight for me. Every dish had something to love about it. "Visited Shears for the first time. What a treat. As this is a restaurant I’ll start with the food. In a word very nicely presented absolutely delicious tasty beautifully cooked. With surprisingly generous portions making our seasonal set meal actually really good value. We had Oyster Chicken parfait and Salmon and Dill starter, followed by Sea Bass and Pork Belly with green veg and smashed kimchi spuds. Pudding was Pear and Meringue. 2 beers to drink lovely Czech varieties. Service was friendly well informed and well timed. All in a really lovely experience thx to my daughters for giving us a voucher for here. 30% off in January. This did cause a bit of confusion as initially I was advised we couldn’t use the voucher and get 30% off but once I’d explained the voucher was a full price gift voucher rather than something like a cut price wowcher or Groupon reduction one the 30% reduction was included in full. Looking forward to going again probably after a menu change to try a different gastronomic delight. Thank you."

"My friends and I dined with you last night, and had the most wonderful experience. The ambience was perfect, with a lovely Christmassy feel. The waiters were so polite and accommodating. As a vegan, I was met with three beautiful plates of food which were creatively presented, delicious in taste, and offered a range of flavours. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and will certainly be returning. Thank you, and Merry Christmas."
