"My partner and I had been looking for a great place to have a lovely high-quality Asian dinner. Little did we know that this small, unassuming restaurant in Greenwich would end up being our favourite spot! The menu was full of delicious Japanese and Chinese dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients. We ordered some sushi rolls, sashimi and dumplings along with some sake - it was truly amazing! We loved their food so much that the day after when it came to dinner time, we went back to the same restaurant! The welcoming and very professional and prepared staff make this place even more special. One of the guys also introduced us to a special red fish just arrived from Japan the day before, that was incredibly good! I personally always get excited about what new culinary surprises await us each time around. 10/10."
"An average Japanese restaurant in Greenwich area. More feel like Asian take away store. Tempura wasn’t fried the way we wanted, the udon soup was bland and soft shell crab skin was awful. The roll that we ordered kind of save this place. Combination of the sauce of this. Overall, won’t say the best but you can come here for some Asian food if you miss them."
"We tried this Japanese restaurant, off the beaten track of the main Greenwich areas. The deco looks like a night club but the service was attentive. Most dishes were of good quality, including sushi and ox tongue. The batter on tempura and karaage was too thick and they could do with some improvement but overall good place to have in the neighbourhood."
"Attended a birthday at Kitcho. Food was delicious especially the sushi and sashimi. The large room was very spacious for big groups and karaoke. It would have been convenient if there were a few more tables by the sofa area to use when eating. Overall a good event."
"Their tuna is bluefin tuna, which has a stronger flavor than the yellowfin tuna used in other stores. The fat belly of the salmon is luscious and smooth, and it melts in the mouth with just a sip. The yellowtail in winter is rich in fat and firm in flesh, which complements the spicy basil leaves. In addition, their soy sauce is Tosa soy sauce, with the aroma of kelp and katsuobushi. I also ordered two types of sushi rolls today. One is the crispy shrimp roll with mango and caviar. The natural fruit sweetness of mango complements the fresh sweetness of shrimp. The crunchy feeling is as happy as they play a symphony when chewing. The other is Volcano Roll, there are also Volcano Rolls in other places, but there is no lava flow like Kitcho. Roasted radish is used in the sauce to neutralize the heaviness of the mayonnaise, making it rich in texture and with a touch of freshness. Their shallot crisps are fried by themselves, which is more crispy than other stores. Their fried chicken is probably the juiciest fried chicken I've ever had, with chicken thighs marinated with caramelized onions and became incredibly tender. Their fried oysters are also delicious, but the fried chicken is even better。"
