"Lovely place. We have been going here for over 15 years. Restaurant needs a bit of a revamp, looking a bit tired. But food really good. Order on an app which at first was a bit finicky but all good and food arrives super quick."

"Delicious food and speedy service. Both the Duck and Salmon were cooked to perfection. We also ordered the Calamari and Vegetable Tempura for starters. Would give the food 5 stars, however the restaurant itself is in need of some TLC."

"This is the first time trying the Putney Hare & Tortoise, having eaten at the Bloomsbury and Chiswick branches numerous times. However, this time the food was not as good as previous experiences at other branches. I ordered a roast duck and rice, one of my favourite items on the menu. The duck flavour was good but the meat was far too overcooked making it extremely dry and hard to chew. It was also lacking sauce, but this wasn’t a big issue as the staff were lovely and brought extra sauce when we asked."
