"I have been visiting this place since around 2016 and it never failed. I now live in Wakefield and I still come once twice a month to eat. 40min drive. The sushi are the best you can get. They’re always freshly prepared and delicious. Service attentive. I like how small the place is, it makes it special. I also had hot dishes in the past and they were also good. I have tried sushi in many other places around UK, more expensive but nothing come close to this. I have taken many of my friends here, family. It’s the only place that never disappoints us. Saying that, we often visit finer places and regret paying ~£100pp for poor food. Cash only never bothered us, don’t get how others can put 2 stars because of that. "Really disappointed. Came in and was told that they only take cash and not card. Then I was made to order online and pay extra. The miso was warm at best. Ordered unagi Don but the unagi could fit in my palm. Food was alright but very poor customer service. Lots of talking inside the kitchen. 2 stars cos the food was alright."

"It's a nice little restaurant with friendly staff. The food is really good and there's a lot of it! I struggled to finish some of it on my own. But it tastes like what I would eat in Japan."
