“If you love peace and quiet go there. Lovely place for relax. You can spot plenty of deers and for me it was just amazing experience walking between those animals. No parking so it's best for walk or by bicycle.”

“Staff are always helpful and friendly!! Pippa, lynne and all the ladies are very welcoming whenever i have visited the shop, even if they have all been busy they are always polite and say that someone will be available as soon as possible, the longest i've had to wait is about ten minutes and they were very apologetic about it! The ladies are always friendly and they seem to enjoy booking the holidays as much as i do!”

“Super wooden play structures in the play areas for children. Basketball shooters for older children. Tennis courts also. Large sand pit area with water pump and a wooden castle climbing structure for younger children. Great to have a Wessex Water free water refill for your bottles. Still get a wave from the train drivers while you wait on the bridge for the trains coming into Bath. The wonderful canal bridge just a bit further on. A lovely park for families.”

“Great irish dance classes on a Friday whit horizon irish dance school. Highly recommended. Lots of other activities to do there. But definitely irish dance class with Katie is something you don't want to miss”

“Not so much bibimbap, which I'm pretty sure involves hot rice and a bowl so hot it cooks the raw egg when you stir it it. More a cold rice bowl with a cooked egg and warm topping. But delicious, esp. when you mix the gochugang through it.”

“Lovely food. Limited Sunday lunch choices but artfully presented and tastes like it should. Pork or beef roasts are shown in the pictures. Beef shredded in the Yorkshire tasted divine.”

“Came here with my family and accidentally spilt 3 coffees absolutely everywhere. The staff were incredibly easy going and friendly about it, cleaned it up quickly and even made new coffee on the house! Toasties were delicious too!”

“Had a lovely early Xmas meal with 13 friends with food chosen from their 2022 Xmas menu. All good and well prepared as we supplied our choices a few days in advance. Service was good and lots of well trained staff. Good choice of beers and soft drinks and all food and drink not at rip off prices.”

“Had a fab one night stay here, wish it was longer, we will definitely be back. The place is laid back and very friendly and especially dog friendly. Our 2 spaniels loved their stay as well, maybe it was the treats they were given. During our stay we had lunch, dinner and breakfast, all the food was really nice. A great selection of ciders and gins and a lovely pint of Marstons pedigree. Our room had a nice warm shower ,really comfy bed and Netflix on the TV.”

“We recently visited Avon Valley Park's Christmas Nights Light trail and had a great time. We came from Cardiff and hadn't been before and were really impressed with the light show and special effects. The dinosaurs looked very snug and warm wearing scarves and Christmas jumpers. We especially enjoyed the train ride where a very enthusiastic elf gave us an 'elf and safety' talk before accompanying us on the ride, making it a fun experience for everyone. All of the elves were very friendly and we had a great evening, thoroughly recommended!”

“Had a great visit. First time visit and really enjoyed it. My father worked at Rolls Royce in the 70s and worked on Concorde after mentioning this an amazing guide took us behind the scenes to look at one of their exhibits. We would highly recommend a visit it is highly worth it.”

“We booked it exclusively for a family holiday for 3 days. A perfect getaway, beautiful grounds and surroundings. It’s quite remote, perhaps feels more so than it actually is but a car is certainly needed. Facilities are fine, plenty of living room and good sized kitchens. Minehead is a lovely smallish town with beautiful sandy beaches and beautiful hilly setting.”
