“Nice, Big and New. Had lots to choose from, a variety of meats that I don’t usually see and liked the fact that they had ready to eat nibbles (pies etc) and fresh made sushi. Was pretty impressed I guess being brand new definitely helps. Parking was ample and easy access and egress.”

“Friendly welcome from the lady behind the bar, walked in to the sun drenched door on the corner main entrance. Spent a couple of hours there and thought I'd order lunch. Ordered crispy skin salmon medium rear more rear. Came back fully cooked, returned the meal and asked for medium rear or rear again, the salmon came back peeeerrrrfect. The staff are amazing and accommodating. Great place! 5 stars”

“A very good tasting and generous portion of lambs fry. Was very happy to see it served as it is not to everyones taste. My only query is that it is only served with chips or salad. A mashed potato would go fantastic with this. But great tasting and thank you.”

“Today, as a complete break with tradition, my wife and I shared the Mother’s Day breakfast box. We did it as a takeaway and what a fabulous delight it was. Ordered it via Facebook on Thursday and picked it up at 0800 this morning. Fantastic service as the coffees I ordered were being made as soon as I walked in, and the breakfast box was a sight to behold! What a beautiful package and even more was the great range of delicacies within. This was superb value and it was a struggle to not break open the box on the way home. This type of thinking from Tap & Grind shows how far ahead of the pack they are - and how it helps to retain loyal customers. Well done team and Vanessa - it’s all very well to have good ideas but without excellent service delivery it’s a waste of time. Congrats to everyone at Tap & Grind for making Mother’s Day 2023 one to really remember.”

“It was an amazing experience. Very good atmosphere and especially really good food. Waitress was especially nice, and food came quickly despite being busy. If you want something different, there is the amazing Korean style spicy fish soup. Sashimi also came in a very big size. All around good experience and good time, definitely will be going back!”

I have been coming since it first open and I have seen the customer base just continue to grow and grow. “Have been here twice now and enjoyed my salmon aburi bowl both times. The portion size is on the smaller side for the price but you can taste the quality ingredients. It has been fairly quiet when I have been for lunch around 12-1. Also get to order off an iPad so can browse the menu. No split bills”

“Uncle Bill’s is a hidden gem in a quiet corner of Australia Fair shopping centre. It’s a small no nonsense eatery serving better than ‘big’ restaurant freshly roasted meats. Uncle Bill's has been dishing up his amazing Hong Kong style Cantonese food for many years at AustFair. Surviving through pandemic restrictions and no tourists is testimony to how good his food is. We always make a point of visiting Uncle Bill's on every trip to the Gold Coast. Prices are very fair for the amazing quality of his food. We always order 2 choices of roast meat with rice and wonton noodle soup. The roast duck is juicy and roast pork with crispy skin are favourites. They also have char sui bbq pork, roast and soy chicken dishes which the family also enjoy. Seating is available on around 8 small wooden square tables and stools which fill up quickly at lunchtime. Ordering is done at the counter and with service more transactional rather than personal. Uncle Bills is located upstairs in AustFair close to the cinema and an easy walk across the overhead bridge to the free carpark.”

“I took my nieces and nephews here and it was great! We all had nice coffee (and hot chocolates with marshmallows!!), snacks made on site and all topped with great service. It was easy to order with the QR code and the staff were lovely. The playground was amazing, with good equipment for both the bigger and littler kids. There was shade cloth over all of it, and properly covered areas for us to sit and watch the kids play while we enjoyed some amazing coffee. There was even a merry-go-round suitable for all the kids to enjoy, and evidently also suitable for wheel chairs! This is definitely where I'll be taking the nieces and nephews next time we have a day out!!”

“What amazing views!! Our room certainly didn't disappoint. The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. Really appreciated them making a special effort for our honeymoon. They gave super honest reviews of the local cafes and restaurants which have saved us the head aches. But going back to the quality of the rooms, its one of the best stays I've had and i think super good value!”

Service - if there is a 10 star rating, I will definitely give it to them. The service was on a different kind of level starting from the reception. Everyone was very attentive to the needs of the diners. Atmosphere - The place was in the corner, beside the buffet and the coffee shop. Lots of people around. A bit of everything but still a good place to dine in.”
