“Wonderful 50m swimming pool in the middle of Fortitude Valley in Brisbane. One of Australia's most famous pools, that over the years has seen many Olympic medallists and international swimmers use it as their training base. Recently, the Scottish Swimming team used this venue to prepare for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Venue is clean and has good surrounding space for sitting or sunbathing. Small coffee shop on site as well as a swim shop and fitness gym. Easily accessible on foot but probably difficult to find good nearby car parking space.”

“Their swim classes are well run and the covered pool used for lessons are still warm during winter. Staff are always friendly although I'm noticing a bit of turnover at the moment which maybe no fault of their own. Facilities could do with an update / renovation but that's just a suggestion. Perhaps Council can put funding into upgrading the toilets and car parks......”
