Treehoppers Forest Kindergarten
● Closed“Treehoppers has been the best decision for my youngest son - he absolutely loves it! The daily activities, outdoor play, and use of natural surroundings is amazing. The little ones learn such vital outdoor skills whilst playing with friends, learning to cook, lighting fires and building self-confidence. Highly recommend this setting to anyone wanting more outdoor play and a wonderful stimulating environment with the most caring team. It's really like a little family :)”

They are continually creating new spaces and formats accommodating the different needs of the children, which has really helped us in particular work on behaviour challenges we faced. Thank you Lambs!”

My two three-year-olds and I looked forward to going there each week to explore the evolving range of exciting themed activities on offer and to sing and listen to a story at the end. The organiser Suzanne is welcoming, friendly and well-organised. I can’t recommend this group and setting highly enough.”

Apple Tree Montessori Nursery School
● Closed22 Connaught Road, Brighton and Hove, Hove BN3 3WB, United Kingdom“My 3 year old was going to another nursery and was pretty happy there. I knew about Montessori schools and their special way of teaching and decided to visit Apple Tree when they opened doors. I couldn’t drag my 3 year old out of it. Since that day she asked me about coming back there. I switched the nurseries and couldn’t be happier. My child actually loves going there, talks about her friends, activities and teachers nonstop. That was not an experience with previous nursery where there were so many kids that she was just lost there. The place is divided into different educational sections and my daughter decides her self what she wants to do when she gets there every day. It provides her freedom and independence. My daughter is much more independent since she started this program. We are very happy with the program and definitely will recommend to others.”

The Nest Day Nursery Seven Dials-Brighton station
● Closed“We had a wonderful experience with this nursery. My little son started in the Robins room, when he was two, and then moved to the Swallow when he turned three. In both cases, he had really enjoyed his time there. The nursery offers a very friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a rich variety of stimulating activities for the children. The staff are highly qualified and genuinely care about the children. In fact, I cannot speak highly enough of the nursery staff that my son had while he was with the Swallow. They have been amazing under so many aspects, and I could see that he developed a real bond with them: they really were like a second family to him. My little boy really flourished during his time there, and I was particularly impressed by the way how the practitioners got to know each child very well, and were genuinely caring and enjoying about their progresses”

Michael Hall Steiner Waldorf School
● Open“We’ve moved from a Steiner school in Brazil to Michael Hall mid pandemic. We’re still getting acquainted with the school and the environment, but our first impressions are very good. Our three children adore their teachers and are thriving in the new environment. Management is clearly going through growing pains, but moving forward and what we see and feel through our children is as awe inspiring as other wonderful Steiner schools. Careful with reviewers who do not name themselves and who only offer negative reviews to anything they review.”

New View Nursery
● Closed“Brilliant nursery! My daughter settled here very quickly after a long struggle in previous nursery. Very safe environment, clean and well organized to entertain all children. Beautiful garden with the woodland on the side is a big advantage. Playing is combined with learning practical skills, thinking critically and exploring. Children have access to computers, they regularly have sessions with a teacher where they learn literacy, enjoy group book reading or active learning. Children are involved in all sort of events, celebrations and entertainment (nativity play, sports day, celebrating each child birthday etc.). It is amazing to see how much they learn and how great communication and friendship they have. I am very impressed with the level of care and the attention that children receive at New View Nursery. The staff is outstanding! My daughter loves every single staff member and excitingly tells me how much fun she had each time. Nursery use Tapestry online learning journal which they regularly update. They post photos/videos and info of what my child does so I can actually work without being worried :-)”

Pebbles Pre-School Shoreham

As a parent I was worried my children wouldn't want to be left at a young age but in fact they had such a great time there they didnt ever look back. I also noticed the difference in their learning once they had started - particularly with their counting and speech it was a great foundation for their school life.
