“This is the best convenience store that I've ever lived by, the people who work there are really great. One time I asked if they were going to stock jalapeño cheese again or if it was there and I'd missed it, because I mistakenly remembered buying it there before. (It was actually Mulberrys across the road that I'd bought it from and they've stopped selling it). He said they don't sell it but can order some in, which isn't something I would ever have expected a shop to do for me! A few days later the cheese was there in the cheese fridge and I bought it. :) It also has a post-office section which is much better than any other places that I've gone into as other ones often shut their post-office area at midday or the very early afternoon. Ps. The shop has just been renovated.”

However it is very important to realise that there are always two sides to a story. Small shops experience numerous problems including shoplifting. Every shopkeeper has to walk the fine line between trust and awareness...allowing customers freedom but also being viligant. Ceres is a very welcoming shop which includes being chiId friendly. Sadly many parents have lost the "art" or "skill" of child control. This leads to a difficult situation in our modern world, to speak or stay silent. Generally people's tolerance of critical feedback has deteriorated to the point where we often "walk on eggshells". When you read a review that is highly critical always remember there is another point of view.”

We were looking for a photo with no writing on that we could frame properly, but other then that it was a very good experience.”
