“I discovered Harvey’s on a recent trip to England when we decided to take a day trip to Lewes. Harvey’s beer is without a doubt one of the best breweries with some of the best beers I have had in England. A great alternative to the big breweries. I will be certain to search out Harvey’s taprooms when in England.”

“Great place. Spent around a hour here tasting and learning about different types. Jo served me and she had a massive wealth of knowledge. Worth giving her a visit, her energy alone makes the shop!! It's not just a quick stop for middle aged men, it welcoming to everyone from all walks of life of all genders, backgrounds and ages (over 18 obviously) call in and give them a visit. Really helpful if you want to try something new, want to know what you're buying or need help with choosing a gift. “Not sure why MC T is making stuff up here, but to clarify Mulholland's has never changed ownership. It's still run by the Mulholland's family and Mrs Mulholland who opened the shop in 1975 still lives above the shop and you can bump into her in the shop throughout the day”

The owner is honest and fair about problems which arise (such as card machine being down) and you feel like youre actually getting the authentic local experience where the business actually cares about it's community.
