As a female, I've had bad experiences with other garages who tend to rip you off but they are great here and professional. Mostly offer MOTs on the same day! “Noticed that this ‘tyre service’ business had started to advertise MOTs. Living locally booked my car in for a MOT and service. Very happy with the service provided. Really friendly helpful staff who said to pop back in a few months so they can check the front brake pads. Exceptionally busy today which I think is a great tribute to their work and approach. I have no hesitation is returning in the future or to recommending them to anyone who may ask. Revisited 1/9/22 with my daughters car for full service and MOT. Totally happy with the work. Booked in a couple of weeks in advance, the car was ready for lunch time. Going back probably within a o this for brake check on my car.”

“Phoned about a puncture I had on my back tyre. They said just bring it in and we will fix it. They fixed it within 10 minutes. They also recommended rotation of my tyres and balancing and I’m now all good to go for winter. I also had four new Dunlop tyres from these about 18 months ago. The prices were competitive and the fitters knew what they were doing. Would recommend. Many thanks.”

“Honestly THE best garage and mechs ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Honest, trustworthy and friendly. Ive had 3 vehicles serviced, moted and repaired by them and the whole experience was top notch. I was unable to get my car in, in the time frame i needed it, went to another local garage and qas given a list of things that needed to be done, a possiable bill of close to 1k, i didnt trust them, so posppned my plans and waited to gwt it in to MS. When i dropped my car off i explained the issues to Shane and what i had been told by the other garage, he said leave it with him and he would call, that same afternoon Mat called me and said the issues were being called by a dirty sensor and it was all sorted and ready to collect, when i got there to collect the car Mat handed me the bill 50 QUID, bit of a difference from 1k. Such a refreshing thing to find a teade that is truly HONEST. Great lads highly highly recommend to anyone.”

“Another splendid job from the team at SMC - a fantastically fitted fitted tow bar at a fraction of the cost of Halfords, excellent value for money - they even assembled the bike rack for me - these guys go above and beyond! I have used this garage a number of times over the years. The service here is faultless. Engine diagnostics are prompt and accurate, estimates are spot on and the work is carried out to a higher standard than any dealership could ever hope to achieve! Don't waste money on expensive dealer services that will only be conducted by an apprentice - here you have the vast expertise and knowledge of Ian and his dad Bob. More recently SMC saved my wife a small fortune by sorting out the paintwork on her leased Q5. Audi leasing would have hit here for literally thousands for the chips, scratches and knocks on the car - SMC managed to sort the whole lot for under £300 !!! Before returning your lease car let SMC check it over for you - you will not be disappointed. In all - I cant sing their praises enough, SMC now take care of my work van, the family campervan and our family workhorse the Volvo, soon I'll be asking them to service the narrowboat :) Outstanding service all round !”
