“Delicious tapas and cocktails, not a huge menu but they've definitely nailed what's on there. Had to sit outside as the restaurant was full, but the tent had heaters and they supplied blankets. It was very cosy. The photos I have were of my drinks. I forgot to take pictures of the food but I promise it was all delicious!”

“Love a 3a brunch - their smashed avocado is one of the best out there and they serve lovely coffee too. Went for Christmas drinks in early December and can vouch for far too many of the cocktails being delicious!!! Definitely one of my favourite spots to visit regularly.”

“Booked here 10 mins before we arrived as a spur of the moment date night, we had been recommended this place by a friend so thought let’s try it. Really easy to get to, plenty of parking. Cute inside with good lighting so you can actually see the food you’re eating. Waitresses were really pleasant, ordered drinks starters and mains. I asked for a recommendation and again they were helpful and happy. Focaccia for starter which I wasn’t overwhelmed with but it was nice. My partner had prawns and olives, both he enjoyed. Mains I had blade of beef which was delicious, with added chips and onion rings. The onion rings where the best onion rings I’ve ever eaten. And I fear now that no others will ever live up to these ones!! Amazing. Partner had ribeye and again really enjoyed. I would recommend this place to enjoy who would like good hearty food, done well. Nice atmosphere with cottage vibes.”

“The village of Clent always delivers for me. Such great memories as a child and still today. The French Hen is one of those Inns that's not a prescribed 'formula' pub. Great character and lovely staff. Highly recommended.”

“Such a wonderful spacious restaurant, great menu and wonderful atmosphere. I had brought two elderly gentlemen who are in the 70s and 80s year old. They both had their 21st birthdays back in the days in formal dress! This was a real trip down memory lane, staff were very welcoming. Seating inside and outside, good parking space and disabled access and a fabulous glass of prosecco. Cheers!”
