“Amazing Christmas Lunch. We have hosted Christmas for many years and this year we decided to treat ourselves and have lunch at a restaurant. The Archer were doing a Christmas special and we were not disappointed. Doors opened at midday and you were greeted with a glass of bubbles, numbered allocated seating and unlimited buffet. I am normally not a buffet fan but this was amazing; huge array of foods covering starters, mains and desserts all fresh and so well cooked. The service was amazing, the food was so good and made our day, glad we made the decision to do this, we drove from Orewa for this experience! The Archer is consistently good, so if you are looking for a good meal out I can’t recommend them enough. As its limited numbers make sure you dont miss out next year, book early!”

“If there is one thing I always appreciate, is how some local owners will go above and beyond for their customer. I've always wanted to check out Two Spoons, so me, my mum and sister decided to go for breakfast here one morning. We didn't realise that their breakfast is only served certain days of the week, so they only had their fresh cabinet food that you can order. I think the owner/manager could see in our faces that we were really keen on their breakfast and that we didn't take note on their breakfast policy before arriving. Without even asking, they offerred to cook us one of the items on their breakfast. I really appreciate how well we were looked after. Not just that, the food was spectacular and so delicious. The service, as you can guess, was marvelous as well. A lot of their catering also takes into account dietary requirements such as celiacs. A very nice local cafe that I highly recommend to check out.”

The decor has recently been revamped and is really nice. The menu is comprehensive and reasonably priced. There is also a BYO option for the budget conscious.
