“Decided to try this place for a Mother's Day treat and wow, very pleasantly surprised. The spring roll was big and had a nice crunch, not too greasy. The BBQ fried rice and sweet & sour pork were both very decent portions. The fried rice had a nice amount of the meat and veges. I found it a touch bland for my tastes but it went really well with the sweet & sour which was truly the highlight of the meal. Tender meat on the inside and not too soggy on the outside. Sauce was tasty and didn't have that artificial flavor that some places use. Definitely going to be our new regular Chippy. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait because they are very busy and popular.”

“Went there as a group of 8, got a room to ourselves. They provide aprons with a cute pocket for your phone. The spicy seafood soup base was really rich, umami, and not salty at all. Coconut water based chicken pot was sweet and full of flavour, need to add a bit of salt if you don't prefer a sweet soup for meat though. The ingredients came with the pots themselves is already quite a lot (especially meat), so wouldn't recommend ordering too much extra. The salted egg fish skin is really fresh, definitely recommend. Clay pot rice is really good, best was the one with pork and sausage. The clay pot rice with salted fish is good too but ummm just be careful you might bite on a huge chunk of salted fish, super fragrant though, definitely enjoyed it.”
