Dr. Laura Horton is a licensed psychologist and the Clinical Director at our Conway location, offering services at 4004 McCain Boulevard in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Horton specializes in treating anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, academic struggles, and socialization difficulties in children, teens, young adults, and families. She also works with clients with ADHD, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, body image concerns, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Horton uses evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and takes a collaborative approach to care involving the client, caregivers, medical providers, and teachers. She aims to include parents/caregivers in all aspects of treatment, addressing environmental concerns, providing developmental guidance, and developing behavior management strategies for children. Dr. Horton completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology at the University of Central Arkansas and an American Psychological Association Accredited Internship in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arkansas Families First, where Dr. Horton practices, is a multidisciplinary behavioral health care group dedicated to unlocking the full potential of children and families by providing comprehensive care through the latest research and skilled providers.
