With 26 miles of hiking trails, visitors can explore the park's beautiful scenery and feel like they are in a secluded forest. Hot Springs National Park is also in the path of totality for the 2024 Solar Eclipse, making it a prime destination for eclipse viewing. Visitors can fully submerge themselves in the thermal water and relax as their worries melt away.
Hot Spring above Ground in Park
Hot Spring above Ground in Park is a popular tourist attraction located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, United States. The institution offers visitors the opportunity to experience nearly 4,000-year-old spring water in its natural state. The thermal water is high in temperature, which helps to kill harmful bacteria and is monitored to U.S. standards for safe drinking water. While Legionella bacteria have been identified in some water samples, the concern does not lie with bathing or drinking water, as inhalation is not common with these activities. The park features Bathhouse Row, where visitors can fully submerge and relax in the thermal water. The hot springs water is Hot Spring's National Park's primary resource, and drinking the water is perfectly normal and even encouraged. The park provides spring water free of charge at all of its jug fountains. Additionally, there are three places within the park where visitors can touch the thermal water, which is cool enough to touch by the time it reaches the pools.
