"I was minding my own business, sitting at a red light, and then boom! My car was hit in the rear end by another vehicle. I didn’t know what happened. The next thing I know, people are coming up to my car to see if I was ok. I felt like I was coming out of a dream and everything was moving slowly. Then I felt the pain. It was there in my neck and shoulders. My back was hurting too. An ambulance came and took me to the hospital. A friend referred me to Dr. Scott and said that he could probably help me. I called and the staff was very pleasant so I made an appointment. Dr. Scott listened to my complaints and examined me. I could tell that he was really concerned about me. He took x-rays and explained to me how the muscles and tissues the hold my spine together were injured. He really took the time to make me understand how my body was injured. Then he put me on a treatment program to relieve my pain and rehabilitate and strengthen my injured body. I don’t like to take medication but I had really bad headaches from the accident and I was afraid that I was going to have to take the drugs my other doctor prescribed me forever. Dr. Scott told me that my headaches were coming from my neck injury and irritation to the nerves. As he worked with me, my headaches got better and I stopped taking the pain medications. Now I am feeling good again and I am active in my life just like I was before my injuries. My friend did me a great favor when she referred me to Dr. Scott and I return the favor by referring others."
