"We used points to reserve our stay and were only given the option for their cheapest and lowest quality room. Studio king with kitchenette. So much for being a Marriott Bonvoy member. Could only image what it would be like for someone outside membership. I'm sorry in advance. The location is perfect for The Phoenix Speedway and also plenty of restaurants and shopping in the close proximity of this hotel. But I am a very critical person when it comes to my rooms and my continental breakfasts. I mean I have changed hotels because of bad room selection before. But make use of their kitchenette if your closet does not smell like weed directly behind you while you are trying to scrabble your eggs. But why am I making eggs for breakfast in my room when they offer continental breakfast you ask... Well if you like to chew on sugar chunks in your pre-made waffles, or eat eggs that are dry and taste and feel fake wall paper, or even like sausage patties that taste like you are chewing on wet cardboard, then that's why you are making breakfast in your room. This place has the WORST and I mean the WORST MOST DISGUSTING BREAKFAST I HAVE EVER TRIED!!! I dumped mine strait to the trash after my first few bites. Because that's where it belonged. Sad I had to stay here for 6 days. Hope this was helpful."

"Location is pretty good. Plenty of restaurants within walking and driving distance. Lobby entrance looks and feels very much like a side emergency exit and is just as inviting when you use it. Rooms are a little gross, no bare feet, obviously, but especially here. Bed linens were clean and crisp. The mattesses were a little lumpy where most people slept in the same spot, those kinds of lumps. Water damage between entrance and carpet made a crunching squeeking sound when walked on. The adjacent room was the same way. Staff are excellent up front. Very nice. Breakfast staff are just grumpy because they are serving awful food. In the mood for a waffle made way ahead of time and put in a steamer next to some light grey sausage patties? This is your place."

"As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I was looking forward to the fact that I could use my points to stay so close to where I work. Upon entering the property, the door to the front desk is small, and has no automatic opening system. (How that complies with ADA standards I don’t know.) The photos on the website made the rooms look far more spacious than they actually are. I noticed and odd smell (as if someone had tried smoking in my room, and they used a very fragrant cleaner to mask the odor) when I walked into my room. The walls were quite thin, and I could hear the shower, toilet, and tv from the other room next to mine. Speaking of the TV it was in a very odd spot, and didn’t angle much to make it comfortable to watch in bed. The bed was far too firm, and felt like it was quite old. Really needed to be updated. The worst part was all the rust on the tub (seen in the picture). It gave a very rundown, unclean feeling about this property, and I’m really disappointed that I spent 17,000 points to stay here. I should’ve mentioned it to the desk, but it was late, and I needed to be to work early the next day. It is certainly not what I expect from a Marriott property, and even with the closeness to my work, I will not be staying here again. Now if I could only get some of my points back for this disappointing stay."

"So the joint is nice enough. Clean rooms with a small usable kitchen. I am on the road a lot and typically Marriott properties are my brand of choice. I had only two minor issues with this property. 1. It is 2023 the room did not have USB charging ports anywhere in the room to charge phone or other accessories like all the other Marriott properties I have stayed at recently. 2. When they say breakfast ends at nine that is code for "it ends at 8:35 or when the food runs out and we don't feel like putting any more out." This is the only Marriott property that I have had this experience at. If the food runs out a half hour before closing.....That is it. No more food. Kitchen has a hard stop at nine. Doors closed. They are done. It does not matter if it is a weekday or a weekend. Never in all my time staying at a Marriott property have ever experienced this. Normally food is served right up until the end of the hour. Then if their are folks still in the dining room there is a courtesy call to let folks know the kitchen is closing and to top off any plates before it closes, and depending on the crowd they have a soft close. Not here. ALLLLL business. The sign says 9am THEY MEAN 9AM. SO if you want breakfast come down before 8:30am or run the risk of not getting any. Defiantly get down before 9. Never have I stayed in a "2 star" Marriott and was made to actually feel like it was two star service. Other than those two issues. Honestly I rate it 4 out of 5. Would have 5 out of 5 if we has the USB charging ports in room and if breakfast was not an issue."

"This place feels dated, even though you can tell they updated it somewhat recently. The room was clean and serviceable. The customer service was excellent and the location the closest to the site I was visiting. During my 3-day visit the parking lot had people smoking and drinking at night which reduced my feeling of safety. The view from my room in the front of the building was a farm plot, which also added the smell of fertilizer, and then a freeway."
