Baymont by Wyndham Phoenix North

"The check in lady seemed like she hated her job and wasn't friendly at all. The 1st room they gave us was never cleaned beds unmade, trash in trash can, towels all over bathroom. Second room smelt nasty but it was already late and we were annoyed. The pool was nice and warm that was the only positive. There was no soap for washing your hands. For paying $240 plus a 100 fee this was not worth it at all. At breakfast we had the syrup and we were pouring it for our kids my husband sat it on the table so he could cut his waffel real fast and the lady came in grabbed thr syrup off our table even though there was a second syrup on the counter. She reached right over my kids while they were eating not even saying a thing to us to grab the syrup so we had to get back up and grab it to use it for one second. The eggs were grey in color. If you are looking for an over priced motel 6 with an indoor pool this is your place."

"I have stayed at this hotel twice now. They have renovated since my first stay and it really shines. The staff is friendly, the room was clean and there is a general good energy about this place. There are restaurants within walking distance around this hotel, a great little breakfast spot (first watch) down the street, and a full on park with volleyball courts and a soccer field right next door. This will be my spot to stay whenever I need a hotel room in Phoenix."

"Noisy. They gave us the end room nearest the freeway, which is right beside the building. Loud traffic noise all night. The room was fitted with one bath towel, obviously not adequate for two guests. The breakfast? Atrocious, at best. Poor selection of remnants of what might have been scrambled eggs, watery ham, cold coffee and sour coffee cream."

"The location was great for me. However, the noise from I17 is terrible. Sounds as if I am sitting by the cars. Loud ALL night. Pick an odd number room on the other side. They charge you a $100 damage charge immediately that you should get back within 10 days. I don't agree with these practices. The room is nice. I had to request another soap so that I could have 1 at the sink and 1 in the shower. The towels are very thin."

"We first arrived, front desk lady wasn't there, and when she did come out wasnt very enthusiastic or welcoming. Rooms are a little dated. Our rooms had some wall corners damaged and chips in walls that could have easily been fixed and painted. Drain stop missing from sink. I'm not in the hotel business, but you would think it would be housekeepings job to report it and have it fixed ASAP. It's an easy fix.. Don't get excited over free breakfast. There were no eggs, I sat here and ate a bagel, and I witnessed so many people come in here and look at the breakfast and say, "No eggs." it was hilarious. The potatoes and sausage were cold. Oh, I almost forgot, bring your own ironing board. I've read some of the responses from the hotel on here. The hotel will criticize people on their punctuation from reviews instead of just addressing the issue, very unprofessional. They also mention they can't find a person who left a review as being a guest in their hotel. Obviously, they don't realize your wife, husband, or friend could have been the one renting the room in their name."
