The park features separate large and small dog areas, with a Fido fountain, scrambling area, and shade ramada for your furry friends to enjoy. The park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with maintenance closures on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The park, formerly known as Silverbell Park, was renamed in 1990 in honor of Christopher Columbus by the Tucson chapter of the Knights of Columbus. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and pay homage to the famous explorer while exploring the park's amenities.
