"If you want to throw money down the drain hire Carey Hyatt as a mediator. She was belligerent to the point of being unprofessional, biased to the point of not hearing information that was relevant to the case, she misheard and misunderstood numerous points, and was incapable of grasping fairly simple financial analyses that had a bearing on the case. When something was said that she didn't want to hear she simply glossed over it and dismissed it without considering the information being presented. Worst mediator ever. What could have most likely been resolved in mediation went to trial. After spending considerably more in legal fees by going to trial the outcome was essentially identical to the more than fair agreement I offered during mediation. Carey's repeated claims of, "this is the best you will get . . . no judge will ever agree with . . . blah, blah, blah" couldn't have been more wrong. Her mind was made up from the outset, her attitude hyper aggressive towards both me and my attorney, absolutely incompetent."
