"These comments and reviews prior to mine I have to be by bot or something that is all false they are short staff, the food is all previously boxed and it tastes awful because the facility so understaffed the nurses are always pissy it's like being in jail it was a horrible experience mind you this is the second time I go thinking that the first time I must have been in the wrong but no seriously you want to go to a cool place try virtue in Sun City go somewhere where they care about you not people who just go get his paycheck"

"This Cave Creek facility is an absolute hoax, lol I dropped off my husband and was told an abundance of lies about being able to keep in contact for check ins and to see if he needed any fresh belongings. Every question I asked I was told “yes I am allowed” and that “it wouldn’t be a problem! He was there for 3 days without any update or contact at all, yes they do have a blackout and I understood this but while also coming to find out that he ended up leaving his second day to come back a half hour later and I was not informed…and yes I was on his ROI! Buena Vista runs their facility by choice of how they take the addict in and what insurance they have..not by code of conduct surrounding HIPPA or quality of care for the person coming in seeking help. They never released a form with consent of cameras being in the rooms, 2 female staff strip searched my husband naked..and 1 female staff ended up slipping a “you are handsome” note with a winky face in my husbands going home bag…not only am I an addict myself but I work in the field as well and I am not only embarrassed by this treatment but saddened by the care people are receiving…DO better! Only good part it they helped him with meds. Great job lol"

"Buena Vista is top notch! It’s been 18 months since my stay and I’m pleased to share that I’m doing fantastic. I was in pretty rough shape when I walked through those doors. The staff gave me immediate care and made me feel comfortable. Everyone there was very patient and kind. It was probably one of the worst times of my life, but the best thing I could have ever done. The great counseling truly opened my eyes and I’ve learned how to cope with my anxiety without a crutch. There are a lot of group meetings and activities, i recommend that you push yourself to to do them all. I’m so grateful that I was able to open my mind and heart to the treatment I was given. I know I had a strong will to heal, but couldn’t have done it without the wonderful staff!! A huge thank you to the staff at Buena Vista! God bless you all! Sandra"

"This place was awesome. The food was impressive, all things considered. Staff brought insight from diverse backgrounds. Ive personally recommended to multiple persons and families. I feared checking in, however i was soon volunteering for an extended stay. Please don't take negative reviews to deeply. Its a hard place to be and a difficult time at first. However no one is forcing anyone to stay, all are welcome to leave. As my first AA meeting attempt failed, i was simply reminded. If your not ready, we will be here next week and the month after."

"I love this place they took care of me physically and mentall. The staff was phenomenal the therapist was amazing. the food was great and the programs really help me cope with life. The staff and my peers never judged me whatsoever. Highly recommend this place for residential, this month was it a good experience for me and I will use this knowledge and resources that they gave me for the rest of my life. Once again thank you guys for dealing with me the last 30 days. Now I have hope and faith and sobriety because of you. God bless"
