Oro Valley Basketball Academy (OVBA) is a non-profit AAU basketball organization located in Tucson, Arizona. Our club team is dedicated to providing young men and women with the essential basketball, social, and leadership skills needed to succeed at various levels of competition. With teams starting as early as 3rd grade, OVBA offers competitive club basketball for youth players and competes in tournaments and leagues throughout Arizona.
At OVBA, we believe in positive reinforcement and pushing our players to reach their full potential. Our coaching philosophy focuses on personal and team growth, with the goal of becoming one of the top clubs in the state. "After a year in the girl’s program I saw little results in development. The valley girls coach refuses to develop players or is simple incapable. His basketball knowledge is lacking. When bringing my concerns to the board they were ignored. This is advertised as a club basketball program, but is nothing more than come one come all and have fun. Which is great for some, but not for the athletes looking to compete in a competitive basketball league."
