"I spent two weeks dry camping / boondocking on Kings Rd. Lots of great spots to camp, easy access, great views, quiet, clear skies. I really enjoyed this entire area. It was clean and everyone was respectful of each other. I had great 5G ATT coverage. Though if you go farther back it may be more spotty. No services here. Palm canyon is another popular road to camp on. Seems busier on the weekend with buggies, jeeps and motorcycles. The roads will be dusty, park up wind, if near the road."
"Boondocking, or dispersed camping out here is fantastic. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous. Not crowded at all! Quartzsite is about 25 mins north and is not a big town with big stores. There is the RV Pit Stop to get potable water, propane & a dumping station. A few smaller grocery stores. Laundry mat & public showers are available. Great experience out here!"
"Wow. Our favorite place to boondock. Mountain views are beautiful! We camped off of Palm Canyon road. Close to Yuma and Quartzite. You can dump in Quartzite and you also have the Tyson Wells Market in Jan. - Feb. Fairly level areas and far apart sites to pick. Hiking is great. Road in is a bit bumpy at spots. We are camping in a truck camper, but we have seen Class A and 5th Wheels. Thank you for a great visit!"

"Kofa is so remote, quiet, void of people and amazing. We visited Palm Canyon off of highway 95 and drove 7 miles to the parking lot. The road is a bit rough so go slow. 4wd is not needed for Palm Canyon road but other roads might need it. At Palm Canyon, the hike up is about 25 minutes one way to where you can see the palm trees. I'd describe the hike as moderate some elevation gain and areas of loose rock. Wear good shoes."
