Founded in 2008, Merrimack Hall started with just one weekly dance class for 10 children with special needs and has since grown to offer 23 arts-related classes serving hundreds of individuals from Huntsville, Madison County, and across North Alabama. Our programs provide extracurricular activities that enrich the social and creative needs of our participants, offering a space for independent and creative expression. Through dance, music, and theater, individuals with special needs are able to improve cognitive and communication skills, boost confidence and self-esteem, and build social connections.
