"My family doctor directed me to Grand View/Dr Wood after I'd suffered for over 2 years through 2 failed hernia surgeries at East Alabama. Dr Wood explained the minimally-invasive robotic surgery that he would conduct in detail and answered all of our questions. Post-surgery, I was off my pain medication in less than 2 days, and pretty much back to normal in ~ 2 weeks, no more pushing my bulged out lower intestine back in or wearing a hernia support strap. I thank God for Dr Wood and his caring, cutting-edge medical care - just wish I'd gone to him 2 years earlier. I highly recommend him/Grand View!"

"Dr. Barton S Wood, MD, preformed a single incision laparoscopic gallstone surgery on my 22 year old daughter. It was amazing, He removed her gall bladder through a tiny incision in her belly button. The recovery was just short of a week, there is no real scar. This is a very new procedure and Dr. Wood is a extraordinarily skilled surgeon. If a time come that anyone in my family or any friends need a general surgery which Dr. Wood proforms we will not hesitate to use him again. He and his staff were wonderful.
