"Mr. Blissett was only concerned about the money he could get from us. He sent one invoice to us for more than $8,000 that appeared to be from another job, simply crossing through the original Newton address with a pen and writing in "wrong address" below. He resubmitted another invoice to us that we had already paid months earlier. He told us that we had fully paid for our plumbing and electrical jobs only to tell us later that we still owed $23,000 more to finish these. He would not supply us with a breakdown of these additional costs. He was asked to go to Lowe's for a kitchen sink but ignored our request and went to Lewis Smith Supply to buy a much more expensive sink, increasing his 10 percent profit. His invoices and draws were frequently much higher than his estimates, but he never informed us ahead of time as required in the contract. When concerns about excessive overages were brought up to him, Mr. Blissett said that we could always go to the bank to get more money. This business is not trustworthy."

"Blissett Builders built a house for our family in 2022 and they did an excellent job. Even with all of the supply chain issues that were prevalent in 2021-2022 our house was completed on time. They made the process easy by helping us pick flooring and paint colors and even suggested design changes to our floor plan that we don't see how we could live without now! We are very happy with our home and enjoyed the entire process from breaking ground to walking in on move in day."
