First Assembly Of God Church
β ClosedWelcome to Atmore First Assembly of God Church, a cornerstone of spiritual life in Atmore, Alabama, for over 80 years. Located at 1120 South Main Street, our church has been a safe harbor for those in need, offering hope and guidance to the community since our founding in 1936. With a rich history of growth and dedication, we have continually adapted to serve our congregation and community better. Our journey began on 2nd Avenue, and as our congregation grew, we moved to Craig Street in 1959. In 1989, thanks to the generous donation of land by Cliff and Flora Eddins, we established our current location on South Main Street. The first building, the South Sanctuary, became home to "Kingdom Kids" and served as the heart of our church activities until the completion of the North Wing in 2001.
